Joseph Salachas, starting as a young tailor in Mykonos in 1933, became renowned for his impeccable craftsmanship, creating clothes for queens, princesses, and celebrities. He innovated the first women’s trousers in Greece, gaining fame among Athenian society and international elites. In 1953, Dior admired his work, dubbing him the “Dior of Mykonos.” His legacy continues through Salachas’ four shops in Mykonos, where stylish linen clothes for men, women, and children reflect his renowned quality and style.
